Made from flowers offered at the Kedarnath Temple, the Himalayan abode of Lord Shiva.

Handcrafted from the flowers offered at Kedarnath, these incense sticks carry the blessings of one of the most ancient temples in India, believed to have been built by the Pandavas after the Mahabharata war in worship of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath is the most difficult to reach of the sacred abodes of the Char Dham Yatra, and pilgrims believe a visit cleanses one of sin, purifies the soul, and leads one toward moksha.

Infused with gulab, the rose said to be dear to Lord Shiva, the fragrance is floral and sweetly honeyed, a calming presence for morning and evening prayers.

The pack holds 40 sticks. Each burns for 40 to 45 minutes, carrying into the home a trace of the atmosphere found at 11,755 feet, the height of the temple itself.
