The Gouri Wool Shawl is hand woven in Kashmir, India, from 100% Merino Wool. Skilled craftspeople use traditional Jacquard Looms to create this special weave called Kanni.
This is a medium weight wool shawl with a warm and smooth touch. The creamy white base color and jeweltone accent colors of this shawl are breathtaking. We provided a picture of the back side of the shawl to show the knots from the handmade process handed down for generations.
Size: 28 X 80
We hand picked each one of these shawls from the weaver’s guild in India. This ensures exceptional quality, fair wages and ethical work conditions. Your purchase brings you a unique piece of India’s timeless textile weaves and you are helping the weavers who keep this tradition alive.
