Raw silk on top and pure wool beneath, materials that Paramahansa Yogananda advised will help insulate the body from earth currents while meditating. Inside is the secret to the comfort - a carefully selected combination of high-density foam for support, and memory foam for comfort and body temperature control. The crescent cushion also includes a special design feature to relieve pressure on the coccyx, or tail bone as even slight pressure on the coccyx during longer periods of sitting can cause back and neck pains.

This cushion is the perfect height and firmness. I’ve tried many meditation cushions over the decades, and this one is the most comfortable floor sitting cushion.

The Best Meditation Cushion

I used to try other's meditation cushions at retreats. None stood out until this one. No sit bone pain period. 4 years and 1300 hours later, still great! One thing experience has shown, the seams shift away from the edges of the cushion over time. Take a few minutes and reset them when you see this. It will reduce strain on the delicate cloth.
